Blue Gray USA

Which players may register for and attend the Blue Gray USA Invitational Showcases?

Players whom are nominated and then receive an invitation letter by either U.S. stamped mail or email may choose to register and attend Blue Grey USA Invitational Showcases.

How are players nominated for the Blue Gray USA showcase events?

The majority of our nominees come from either the player’s high school coach or a college coach or professional scout whom has seen the player perform. Parents may also nominate players. After our staff conducts some research on each nomination, invitations are sent to players who are selected for the events.  They are then invited to register for the event.

May players attend more than one event?

Certainly. In fact, the Blue Gray USA Northeast Invitational Showcase in June in Worcester, which will feature players from a number of New England states, is considered a tryout for the “Best of New England” Showcase event being held in August at the professional baseball stadium at Fitton Field in Worcester, home of the FCL’s Worcester Bravehearts and Holy Cross Crusaders. Additionally, our top performers will be recommended for consideration for other Blue Gray USA  events, including one in North Carolina, as well as Blue Gray Classic events  being later this summer and fall in California, Florida, Texas and Arizona.

How many college coaches or professional scouts attend the events?

Between our Blue Gray USA staff and Baseball Board, we have forged relationships and contacts with virtually every college coach in New England and many along the East Coast and the Mid-Atlantic. We  invite many coaches to our events and in the past, our staff has coordinated events which have drawn an average of 25-35 coaches per showcase.

If I am interested in a college and a coach from that school is not in attendance, how will they know how I performed at the showcase?

Blue Gray USA staff members record all the statistics and data pertaining to your performance at the event and it will posted online at no additional charge to you or college coaches who may want to access the information. In addition, we intend to livestream our entire events online we will notify any coaches that our players request how to access the livestream production of a given event.
